If you need to order a non-maternity style, we offer a list of styles that are considered maternity friendly that can be custom made to maternity measurements.
Please remember that non-maternity styles aren't designed for pregnancy, so you may need some adjustments for comfort. For instance, you might prefer the dress without boning—a change a local seamstress can make if needed. If your dress needs alterations after you receive it, we offer some alteration reimbursements for custom size dresses to help cover the cost. For more information, click here. Just keep in mind that custom-sized dresses are non-returnable.
How To Take Your Measurements
To custom order a maternity friendly style you will need to provide your bust, waist, hips, height, and hollow to floor measurements. For instructions on how to measure your bust, hips, height, and hollow to floor, please refer to our size chart page.
For your waist, measure around the fullest part of your belly and add 1 inch (or 2.5 centimeters for international customers) for every 4 weeks leading up to your event. For example, if your belly measurement is 33 inches at the widest point and your event is in 16 weeks, add 4 inches (10 centimeters) and input 37 inches as your waist measurement at checkout.
These extra inches or centimeters allow room for growth in your dress. However, it's important to note that we can't predict exactly how much your body will change—you may experience more or less growth than anticipated.
