We’re so sorry to hear that the boning in your dress arrived bent. This can occasionally happen during shipping, and we understand how frustrating it is to open your package and find the structure not quite right. The good news is that it’s usually very simple to fix.
The boning in our dresses is made of soft, flexible plastic, designed to be reshaped without breaking. To adjust it:
Identify the bent area
Locate the section where the boning curves outward or doesn’t sit flush against the body.Gently reshape it
Hold the affected area with both hands and slowly bend the boning inward toward the shape you want. Apply steady, gentle pressure—no sudden bending—to guide it back into place.Check the fit
After reshaping, try the dress on or lay it flat to make sure the boning now aligns smoothly with the garment.
If you feel uncomfortable making the adjustment yourself, a seamstress can definitely help you with this. They can also remove the boning completely if you prefer; this would require only a few threads to be cut.
