Refund Details

⭐ When returning an order, you will be refunded the amount paid for the item plus applicable taxes, minus a return shipping fee (see details below). Refunds exclude shipping fees, rush fees, and the taxes paid towards those fees.

👗 The fee you pay for try-on dresses covers the cost of processing and is nonrefundable.

💳 If the account or card used to place your order is closed, the refund will still be processed. If the refund fails, a check will be sent instead. 

💵 Refunds cannot be requested by check. If a refund check is issued and later cancelled there will be a $25 fee.

Refund Options

When returning your items, Azazie provides two convenient refund methods: Azazie Account Balance and Original Payment Method.

Azazie Account Balance (US Only)

• Refunds are applied to your Azazie Account Balance, which can be used for future Azazie purchases.

• Once the refund is processed to your account balance, it cannot be redirected to your card or PayPal.

• Limitations:

  • This is the only refund method for orders purchased with an Azazie gift card.

  • This refund method is not available for orders placed via Guest Checkout.

Original Payment Method

• Refunds are processed back to the original method of payment used for your order.

• If a gift card was used along with another payment method (PayPal or credit/debit card), the gift card portion will be refunded to your Azazie Account Balance.

• Limitations:

  • This is the only refund method for orders placed via Guest Checkout.

  • If the original method of payment used to pay for your order was a gift card, the refund will be sent back to your Azazie Account Balance.

Refund Timeline

The return and refund process involves several steps, so it is important to note that it can take some time. The timeline depends on the return method and refund option you select during the return process.

Return Timeline

• Mail-In Returns: 4-6 business days
  Once your order arrives at our warehouse, we carefully inspect the items and verify all necessary documentation. This process typically takes 4-6 business days.
• Happy Returns: Minutes
  Once a Happy Returns agent scans and accepts your items, your return is processed in just a few minutes.

Refund Timeline (after return is processed)

Once your return has been completed, the refund timing depends on the refund method selected:

• Original payment method: 3-10 business days
  Refunds typically appear in your account within 3-10 business days, depending on your financial institution.
• Azazie account balance: 1-3 business days
  Refunds are typically applied within 24 hours, but may take up to 3 business days to be reflected in your account.

Regardless of the refund method you choose, you will receive a confirmation email once the refund has finished processing on our end.

Refund Shipping Fees

📦 A return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund when we process your return. This fee applies to each item you send back, except for try on dresses, and will be deducted from your refund total.

• All fees are in local currency.
• *In select countries, taxes may also apply to the return shipping fee.
• Countries not listed must use their own labels to return.
• Customers using their own label to return are not charged a return shipping fee.
• The return shipping fee is waived when processing an exchange. Exchanges are currently only available for US orders. If you choose a return instead of an exchange, the standard return shipping fee will apply.

Are there any exceptions to the return shipping fee?

Yes. The exceptions to the return shipping fee are try-on items, items returned with your own shipping label, and exchanges (US Only).

How can I avoid the return shipping fee?

To avoid the return shipping fees:

• Exchange your item (US only): Return shipping is waived when exchanging an eligible item.

• Check your size carefully: Review our size chart and measuring guide before placing your order.

• Try-On Program: Take advantage of our At-Home Try On Program, which allows you to try on dresses at home before making a final decision. 
• Use your own label: To avoid the return shipping fee, you can use your own label to return your order.
