How Your Refund is Applied
Your refund is applied directly and automatically to your Afterpay payment plan. They are applied to future installments, working backwards from the last scheduled payment. Depending on your total refund amount, future payments may drop to $0, while any earlier payments you already made remain unchanged.
Where to Find Your Refund
While Afterpay typically applies refunds back to your original bank or card payment method, funds may occasionally appear as an account credit directly within your Afterpay account instead.
If you don't see the funds reflected in your bank account within 2-5 business days, we recommend logging into your Afterpay account to check your current balance and refund status.
