Many of our dresses include boning, padding, or both - meaning you can happily skip the bra altogether! You can use the filters on our website to find dresses with boning and/or padding.
Prefer to Wear a Bra?
If you feel more comfortable wearing your own bra, we have a couple of recommendations to ensure a smooth look:
- Go for a simpler bodice: It is usually best to order a style without built-in boning or heavy padding so your bra doesn't clash with the dress's structure.
- Visit a local tailor: While we cannot customize our dresses to remove built-in cups or boning before shipping, a local seamstress can easily snip these features out for you to accommodate your preferred bra!
Tips for Best Fit
- Do a dress rehearsal: Try on your dress with your planned undergarments as soon as it arrives. This gives you plenty of time to swap things out if the fit isn't quite right.
- Explore shapewear & stickies: For strapless, plunging, or open-back styles, adhesive bras, fashion tape, or removable cups are absolute lifesavers for seamless support!
