What size should I order?
For postpartum customers, we always recommend ordering a standard size dress. This allows you to try it on at home and return or exchange it if needed, giving you flexibility as your body continues to adjust.
Tips for choosing your size:
Use your current bust and hip measurements, and consider ordering one size up for extra comfort.
-
If you prefer to stick to your exact measurements, consider purchasing extra fabric for flexibility. Additional fabric can be ordered from our website for $10 per yard.
Please note that fabric is non-returnable. However, if you end up not needing it, someone else in the wedding party may be able to use it.
It's difficult to predict exactly how your body will change after the baby is born, so having options for alterations is always helpful. Remember, it’s easier to take in a dress than to let it out!
Style Recommendations
Recently Postpartum: If you are recently postpartum or will have only given birth a month or so before the wedding, a Maternity Style could be a great solution since you only need your bust, under bust, and hip measurements to determine your best size.
A Few Months Postpartum: If it's been a few months since the baby was born and you want something a bit more form-fitting, we recommend checking out some of our Mesh styles, as these styles may be a bit more comfortable for nursing.
Fabrics: Our stretch fabrics do take on dye a bit differently than our chiffon fabrics (what most of our dresses are made of), so make sure to order a swatch in the color you are looking at to make sure the color difference is okay with your bride.
