Color Comparisons – Which is Which?

We know it can be tricky to decide on a color when there are so many choices! To help bride's narrow down their color choices, we've put together some photos of our most popular colors in different lighting to provide a helpful comparison.

Since screen resolutions can change the way a color appears online, we do recommend ordering swatches once you've narrowed down your choices. Swatches are the most accurate representation of our colors.

BURGUNDY vs CABERNET
Burgundy
and Cabernet are both deep red tones but there are some important differences between the two. Burgundy has a brighter, redder tone while the Cabernet provides a richer, darker color with a touch of purple.

LILAC vs LAVENDER vs FOG
Lilac and Lavender often look very similar at first glance, but because Lilac has a pink undertone and Lavender, has a blue undertone, their subtle differences can make a big impact. Fog is a gray color that can also appear similar to these two colors because of it's purple undertone.

SKY BLUE vs MIST
It can be easy to mistake Sky Blue for Mist when looking at a photograph, but Sky Blue is more pigmented, and is overall a bluer color while Mist is lighter and has underlying gray tones that mute the blue’s brightness.

DUSTY ROSE vs VINTAGE MAUVE vs DUSK
Dusty Rose, Vintage Mauve, and Dusk are all within the same color family and pair very well together because of this. Dusty Rose is a muted, neutral pink or as a rich addition. Vintage Mauve is very similar, but encompasses a slightly darker and warm purple undertone. Dusk is close to a gray, but maintains a soft purple undertone that can cool down a warm color palette or warm up a cooler color palette. Put all three together to create a warm evening sky look.

PEARL PINK vs. BLUSHING PINK
Pearl Pink and Blushing Pink appear nearly identical on the screen, but in person they are very different. But Blushing Pink is a light, summery, baby pink while Pearl Pink is a warmer tone closer to a light peach.

SPA vs CARIBBEAN
Spa and caribbean are bright sea greens, but note that they are not quite as bright as they appear online. Caribbean is slightly lighter with a foamier look while Spa has a dash more green.

PEACOCK
 vs INK BLUE
Peacock and Ink Blue are a fabulous way to complete the caribbean/spa color palette. All of the colors are in the blue-green family and compliment one another beautifully. Peacock is more green than Ink Blue, but still maintains a strong blue tinge. Ink Blue airs on the side of a dark blue, but has an unmistakable green tone. These colors are rich and will bring a vibrant hue to your wedding day.
