Starting Saturday December 1, 2018, several states now have sales tax collection statutes and regulations that require online retailers to collect sales tax on orders even if they do not have a physical presence in that state (We are based in California, so California will always have sales tax applied). Additional states will be added in January and February 2019.
The chart below shows the US states that these new federal and state laws apply to, and an estimated tax rate for each. Please note exact sales tax percentages may vary by county. The tax rate will be automatically applied to your order and will be the combined state and local rates of the address where your order is delivered. If the shipping address is changed from a non-eligible state to an eligible state, you are still liable for paying the sales tax.
If you end up returning your dress order, you’ll be refunded the price of the dress and applicable sales tax. Shipping and rush fees are non-refundable.
