Apple Body Shape 🍎

If you have an apple body shape, it's important to focus on creating balance and flattering your figure. To do so, try to draw attention to your neckline and upper body, while creating a more defined waistline.

Empire waisted styles are perfect for you, as they will help to create a more defined waist and hide any unwanted tummy bulge. Similarly, V-necklines and sweetheart necklines will draw attention to your upper body and away from your middle.

Finally, styles with cascading ruffles or A-line silhouettes will help to balance out your figure and create a more flattering shape. These styles will also help to create a more defined waistline and draw attention to your hips.

Remember, confidence is key when it comes to dressing for your body shape! Choose styles that make you feel confident and beautiful, and don't be afraid to experiment with different shapes and styles.

Hourglass Body Shape ⏳

If you have an hourglass body shape, to accentuate your gorgeous figure, it's important to emphasize your waistline and show off your curves.

V-necklines and sweetheart necklines are great options for you, as they will create a flattering neckline. Styles with defined waistlines, such as those with belts and sashes, will help to accentuate your narrow waist and show off your gorgeous curves.

Form-fitting dresses, and wrap dresses are all great options for you as they will hug your curves in all the right places. Just make sure to choose styles that fit well and feel comfortable, so you can feel confident and beautiful.

Pear Shape  🍐

If you have a pear-shaped body, it's important to balance out your figure and draw attention to your upper body. Styles with plunging necklines are perfect for you, as they will help to draw the eye upwards and balance out your lower body.

Additionally, smooth skirts will also help to create a more flattering silhouette. These skirts will help to elongate your legs and create a more streamlined look.

Another option to consider is styles with an A-line silhouette, as these will help to create balance and create a more defined waistline. You may also want to consider tops and dresses with ruching or gathering at the waist, as this will help to create a more defined waistline and balance out your figure.

Remember, it's important to choose styles that make you feel confident and beautiful. Don't be afraid to experiment with different necklines, silhouettes, and textures to find what works best for you.

Rectangle Shape

If you have a rectangle body shape, you have the perfect opportunity to create curves and define your waist. To do so, look for styles that have peaked waistlines, which will create the illusion of an hourglass figure.

High necklines can also be very flattering, as they will draw attention to your face and neck, and help to elongate your body. Look for styles with a defined waistline, such as a wrap dress, or opt for styles with details at the waist, like a belted midi dress or a fitted pencil skirt.

Adding volume to your lower half, such as with a full skirt or flared pants, can also help to create the illusion of curves. Just be sure to keep the top half fitted to balance out your figure.

Remember, confidence is key when it comes to dressing for your body shape. Choose styles that make you feel confident and beautiful, and don't be afraid to experiment with different shapes and styles.

Inverted Triangle ▽

If you have an inverted triangle body shape, you are likely blessed with beautiful broad shoulders and a narrow waist. To balance out your figure and create a more proportional look, focus on creating the illusion of a fuller lower body.

Styles with A-line silhouettes and flared dresses are perfect for you. These styles will create a more defined waistline, draw attention to your hips, and help to balance out your figure.

V-necklines and scoop necklines are also great options for you, as they will draw attention away from your shoulders and create a more flattering neckline. Avoid styles that are too tight around the shoulders, as this can accentuate your already broad upper body.

Finally, choose fabrics and patterns that create the illusion of width, such as bold prints, stripes, or ruched styles. With these tips, you'll be able to create a stunning, proportional look that showcases your gorgeous figure!

Full Figured Bust

The first thing to look for is support. Make sure to choose a dress that has a good, sturdy bra-like support built in or opt for a dress with thicker straps that can hold your bust in place.

Next, look for dresses that have a deep V-neckline or scoop neckline. These necklines will help to create a more balanced look by drawing attention away from your bust.

Empire waisted styles and A-line silhouettes are also great options for women with larger busts, as they will help to create a more defined waistline and balance out your figure.

Finally, try to avoid dresses that have a lot of detailing or embellishments on the bust. This will only draw more attention to your bust and can make you feel self-conscious.

Remember, your bust is just one part of your beautiful body and there is a perfect dress out there for you. Don't be afraid to try on different styles and take the time to find the perfect dress that makes you feel confident and beautiful.

Broad Shoulders

If you have broad shoulders, it's important to find styles that help balance out your figure and create a more proportionate silhouette. To do this, try to draw attention to your lower body, while minimizing attention on your shoulders.

Styles with ruched detailing, wrap dresses, and A-line dresses are perfect for creating a more balanced look. These styles will help to draw attention to your lower body, while creating a more defined waistline.

V-necklines and scoop necklines can also help to elongate your neck and create a more slender silhouette. On the other hand, styles with a high neckline, can make your shoulders appear even broader.

Remember, every body is beautiful and unique. Choose styles that make you feel confident and comfortable, and don't be afraid to experiment with different shapes and necklines to find what works best for you.

Short/Long Torso

If you have a short or long torso, it's important to find styles that will help to balance out your proportions and create a more flattering look. Here are a few tips that may be helpful:

For those with a short torso, focus on styles that will elongate your figure and create a longer appearance. High waisted styles and vertical lines will help to elongate your torso, while also helping to create a more balanced look. Avoid styles that cut you off at the waist, as this will shorten your appearance.

For those with a long torso, focus on styles that will help to create more definition and balance. Belted styles, flared or A-line silhouettes, and styles with a lot of ruching can all help to create a more balanced look. Avoid styles that are too flowy or baggy, as these can add too much volume to your torso and make it appear even longer.

Remember, it's all about finding the right balance and proportion for your unique figure. Choose styles that make you feel confident and beautiful, and don't be afraid to experiment with different shapes and styles to see what works best for you.

Boning & Padding | Should I wear a bra?

Padding and boning in dresses provide support so a bra is not necessary. On our website, you can use filters to choose dresses with or without padding and boning. If you don't want padding and boning, a seamstress can remove it for you.

If you plan to wear a bra with the dress, removing the padding and boning may be necessary for a better fit.

Fabrics

We offer a range of fabrics for our dresses and you can narrow down your options by using our fabric filter on the product pages. The fabric used for each style can be found under "Product Details" on the style's ordering page.

Most of our fabrics are made of polyester. To see the colors available for each fabric, you can order a color swatch. Some of our commonly used fabrics can be purchased by the yard, but if the fabric is not listed, it is not available for purchase. For example, our lace fabrics are currently not for sale.

Handmade Beading and Pleating Details

Please note that due to the handcrafted nature of our beading and pleating, there may be slight variations between dresses. If you opt for an At-Home Try On, the design of the beading and pleating will be the same, but the placement or dimensions may vary slightly in the final dress.

Design Changes

Unfortunately, we cannot make changes to the design of our products, such as altering the length or fabric type, as each one is crafted following a specific pattern to maintain quality and consistency. However, you can use our filters to search for a product that is similar to what you're looking for and meets your desired specifications.

Bridal Gown Ordering Limits
