I'm losing weight, when should I order?

A lot of bridesmaids reach out to us with this question but because each person's situation is a bit different, it can be difficult to give one single answer. However, we do have a few guidelines you can follow to help make this easier for you to determine!

Even if you are losing weight, we still recommend ordering about 3-4 months in advance of your event date. If it ends up that your dress is too big, you may still have time to reorder another size, if production times allow. If there isn't enough time to reorder, you can always have the dress altered locally.

We never recommend ordering a size smaller than your current measurements since you never know exactly how your body may change since you it more difficult to let a dress out rather than take it in.

If your bride will allow it, a Mesh style may be a better option for you since these dresses are made with stretchier materials and may be a bit more forgiving than our stiffer, Chiffon dresses. Mesh fabric does dye differently than Chiffon so be sure you order a color swatch and discuss this with your bride before ordering!

If you need help figuring out what style or size may be the best option for you and would like to get a more detailed recommendation for when to order, please do reach out to our amazing team of Stylists.
