How to Use the Showroom

The Showroom is a handy feature that can help bridal parties get organized and help individual bridesmaids keep track of items they link. 

This article will provide the following helpful information about the showroom: 

 

 

THE PURPOSE OF THE SHOWROOM

The showroom was developed to help connect bridal parties and give them a place to discuss and share styles they are interested in. It can be used by a bride to assign styles or used by an individual bridesmaid who wants to keep track of the styles they are interested in purchasing.

It also has a unique ID number that can be used at checkout to help ensure all dresses ordered under the number are made from the exact same batch of fabric. If you are interested in learning more about that, please check out our Dye Lot Procedure FAQ

 

CREATING A SHOWROOM

To create a showroom, you'll first need to login or create an account before clicking "Create a Showroom" at the top of the website:

At the top of the page where it once read "Create a Showroom" it will read "My Showroom" and if you hover your cursor over this, you'll see a drop down menu with a list of any Showrooms you have created or been invited to (and accepted).

Simply click on the name of the showroom you would like to look at and you'll be taken to the page. 
If you click on a new Showroom, you'll see the following:

SHOWROOM FEATURES

After you create a showroom, a basic tutorial will pop up to show you the main features. If you clicked out of the tutorial by mistake you'll still be able to pull it back up otherwise, you can read on here. 

Here is the showroom with the main features highlighted:

    • Top of Showroom
        • Running the length of the top of the showroom is helpful information regarding our Dye Lot Procedure. Each person who orders with us is required to confirm they have read this article before the order can be placed, so be sure to give it a read!
    • Left Hand Side of Showroom
        • We have the name of the showroom (defaults to the first part of the creator's email address), the showroom's unique ID number, and the delete button (the trash can).
        • We have the profile section where the creator invitee can update their info.
        • Below that is where the creator of the showroom can invite and see everybody who has joined the showroom.
    • Right Hand Side of Showroom
        • We have a button to the tutorial if you missed it. 
    • Middle of Showroom
        • Under "Favorite Items" you'll see any items you have favorited  on the website. 
        • Under "Order Swatches & Samples" you are directed to where swatches (used to confirm the color you'd like your party to order) and samples (real dresses you can test out before committing to purchase) can be found. 
    • Bottom of Showroom
        • Under "My Dashboard" you'll see the orders that the party has placed under the showroom using the showroom ID at checkout. 

ADDING ITEMS TO THE SHOWROOM

Once your showroom is created, you can add any item on the website to the "Favorite Items" section by clicking on the grey heart beside the photo of the item (upper right hand corner).

You can assign the item to a member of your party if you are the showroom owner, you can change the color of the item to match your wedding palette, leave comments, or delete it by clicking the trashcan:

There is no limit to the items you can add to your showroom but you can only have or be apart of 3 showrooms at any given time. The owner of the showroom will always have complete control and will be able to delete anything added to the showroom, but nobody will be able to delete what they have added.
 

 

INVITING & JOINING A SHOWROOM

To invite somebody to your showroom, simply click the "Invite Your Squad" button on the left hand side of the showroom. You'll have the option to invite them by typing in their email, sharing to Facebook, or getting a direct link you can send them directly:

To join a showroom, you have to be invited and you have to accept the invitation and either login or sign up for an Azazie account. If you already have an Azazie account but the invite was sent to the wrong email, you'll need it to be resent to the correct one or update the email on file for your account. 

 

DELETING A SHOWROOM

If you no longer want a showroom and you created it, simply click the trash can symbol next to the showroom name. A warning will pop up to ensure you mean to delete it and once you confirm, every member of the showroom will be sent an email confirming this.

If you were invited to a showroom and would like to leave it, simply click the x that appears next to your name under "My Squad" and you'll be removed.
